Dracomorph is a legendary magic affinity champion from the Lizard Men faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He features an AOE decrease defence and weaken from the same ability, which is very rare, making him one of only a handful that can do this. The use of this ability sets your team up for doing high levels of damage to opponents. Furthermore, his A2 also features a multi-hit poison attack which makes him one of the highest hitting champions in Raid for ice golem, dragon and clan boss. Players looking for progression should focus on booking his A2 and A3 abilities. Furthermore, ensure he has high accuracy and speed to ensure he can get his abilities off fast and have them land at a high rate.

Dracomorph Late Game+ Guide
Once upon a time Dracomorph was one of the worst legendaries in the game. But everything changed when he had received a buff making it one of the most powerful legendaries in Raid. Today he is one of the most sought-after champions for nearly all content. This guide will cover him in nearly all late game+ content with three different builds: 1) Relentless Draco for Clan Boss in Unkillable comp 2) Lifesteal Draco for CB in double Counterattack comp and 3) Draco for dungeon normal runs and speed runs.
Relentless Draco for Clan Boss in Unkillable comp
This section will deal with Draco in Bateater composition that is a staple Unkillable in many top clans. In order to copy this build the champions featured in this guide are a requirement and there is no flexibility regarding this as the Relentless set in other UK compositions can cause Draco to be out of tune.
This champion is definitely worth booking fully. Dracomorph has skills that combine Decrease Defence, Weaken, Poisons and damage based on the number of debuffs all in one unit. This makes him one of the best CB champions for damage.
Masteries
The masteries are picked with maximum DPS in mind as Unkillable (UK) allows to ignore defence in favour of offense. Grim resolve is the choice due to how low the health will be in such a comp. The rest of the tree is standard for most poisoners with Warmaster as the T6 mastery.
Gear & Stats Build
Relentless set is the best DPS set for such a Dracomorph, however it works only in this composition. Ignoring defence you want to focus on reaching the required Accuracy and Speed parameters. If you are using Speed sets be sure to account for them when looking at the total speed due to rounding errors.
Everything else will be the chase for the most Crit Rate, Crit Damage and Attack.
Recommended Main Stats
- Glove: Crit Damage%
- Chest: Atk%
- Boots: Speed
- Ring: Atk
- Amulet: Crit Damage
- Banner: Accuracy
If you are using Dracomorph in an Unkillable composition that cannot accomodate the Relentless set consider using Savage or Cruel to boost your overall damage. The sets that ignore DEF increase the damage from Warmaster and Giant Slayer each turn resulting in a good DPS increase.
Team Composition
The reason why the Bateater composition has become so popular is the potential to reach one key on any major CB on any affinity. Draco composition is the easiest to gear for 1 key as you don’t need anyone in toxic sets. He can keep the full debuffs slots capped with Poisons.
Without Relentless set it may be possible to 1 key UNM, but you’d need much better gear and probably some Toxic sets on your other champions to compensate. The gear on the champions here is not too high a requirement for late game+ players and the same team with Fayne or Beleanor need much better gear to compete.
Speed
- Maneater 265-282
- Seeker 248-263
- Pain keeper 239-248
- Maneater 2 239-248
Setup
A3 on Maneater 1, A2 into A1 on Seeker, A3 on Painkeeper and A2 on Maneater 2 then hit auto. If your ME2 is faster than PainKeeper you can still use the same setup.
If you choose to run Retribution on PainKeeper you’re going to have to make sure PainKeeper is at least 10 speed slower than Seeker. DPS champion can be anyone that does not manipulate TM, including multi-hitters like Cruetraxa and Lord Shazar.
These speeds have a lot of flexibility but there are limits:
- Seeker to DPS champion maximum speed gap is 36
- Maneater 1 to Maneater 2 maximum speed gap is 38
- Maneater 1 to Painkeeper maximum speed gap is 39
- PK can have retribution but needs to be at least 10 speed slower than seeker
If you’re not lucky enough to have AOE Unkillable champions but have AOE Counterattack champions Dracomorph can also help as demonstrated on the next page.
Lifesteal Draco for CB in double Counterattack comp
If you are not lucky enough to have Unkillable Champions but have AOE Counteattack (CA) champions you can also make some excellent teams for Ultra-Nightmare and Nightmare Clan Bosses that have the potential to 1 key.
Your Dracomorph will still be the best in slot champion for the DEF Down/Weaken and poisons combo on every clan boss affinity except for Force. Speed tuning will still rein supreme in your CA team if you would like to maximise your Damage per Second (DPS) and masteries that boost the turn meter can’t be selected.
Masteries
The Offence tree stays mostly the same with the exception of Heart of Glory since Valkyrie shields and Lifesteal set allow Dracomorph to stay at full health for a significant portion of the fight. Warmaster is the choice for the T6 mastery.
On the Defence tree we want to pick masteries that minimize the damage Dracomorph receives. Deterrence was chosen because this particular team does not fully sync with the Block Debuffs buff and the stun from CB doesn’t break the tune. This can result in some additional DPS increase from champions with this mastery when they counterattack CB after the stun.
If your team always has the stun target under block buffs consider using another T5 mastery, for example Stocked to Fury.
Gear & Stats Build
Dracomorph for Clan Boss in Late Game+ setting requires quite a bit of gear to set up properly. Compared to the Unkillable version he needs to be able to survive for long periods of time. This leads to simultaneous requirements for UNM of around 4k+ DEF, 250+ Accuracy and sufficient speed for the speed tune. On top of that you want 100% Crit Rate and as much Crit Damage as possible.
There are two commonly used sets in such a team. The first is the good old Lifesteal set that synergizes with Warmaster to keep Draco at full health on proc. The second is the Stalwart set if you have an excellent healer like Bad-El-Kazar and Draco is not a stun target.
Recommended Main Stats
- Glove: Crit DMG%
- Chest: Def %
- Boots: Speed
- Ring: Defense
- Amulet: Crit Damage
- Banner: Accuracy
If you are more mid-game consider using Def% gloves and amulet to survive longer. In Late game+ you want as much dps as possible until UNM Clan boss starts to hit extremely hard.
Team Composition
There are multiple ways of building a Counterattack CB team with Dracomorph depending on your available champions. Let’s make a brief overview of the options. If you are seeking one key UNM compositions you will likely need to go the White Whale route – the combination of a persistent Speed Buff with CA is an example.
If you don’t have the champions for those kind of comps you still have multiple options for 2 key UNM and 1 key NM. One such option is the double CA composition. It can work with any of such champions, however Valkyrie and Skullcrusher is one of the stronger variations and works well enough to reliably 2 key UNM on any affinity on auto.
It relies on Valkyrie shields for CB stun and AOE 1 and Skullcrusher Ally protection and Unkillable for tanking AOE 2. If built with the right parameters it will last for 40-50 turns on UNM Clan Boss. However, it does require a good DPS champion that is going to be dealing the bulk of Poison damage and the composition needs the Def Down and Weaken debuffs to reach the required damage levels.
Dracomorph fits this role perfectly and is supported by the rest of the cast. This is not a perfectly tuned composition as this Valkyrie spends part of her time on the Scarab and Arena and is not tuned. Keep in mind that her passive causes tuning problems on affinity bosses due to TM boosts anyway.
Speed
- Valkyrie 249 (not tuned)
- Sepulcher Sentinel 239
- Dracomorph 182
- Vizier 177
- Skullcrusher 173
The first turns are not as important for this the team. Synchronization at turns 30-50 is what matter most as one mistake, lack of the correct buffs or a crit from CB can spell the end of your run. First few turns can be run on manual to prevent Vizier from placing unwanted debuffs for extra dps.
Dracomorph Dungeons Build
In case you have your Clan Boss team solved, Dracomorph can be of great help in all other content as well. He works well in all dungeons both in budget teams and speed run comps. If your Draco is used in this type of content and specifically in the speed comps it makes sense to use different masteries and gearing up differently compared to CB.
Masteries
The masteries are focused on maximising the first hit DPS instead of the steady gain over time with Warmaster. The offense tree is mostly standard. The blood shield is picked in order to allow Dracomorph to live for a bit longer until he is healed up when hit from AOE on some bosses, e.g. Ice Golem. If you have revivers or can consistently keep him alive feel free to use another damage mastery, for example Kill Streak.
For Late Game+ Helmsmasher provides some of the best DPS for the T6 mastery. It is important to note that this is picked based on the already high amount of Crit Rate (100%) and Crit Damage (220%+). If you cannot reach those parameters you might be better off picking Flawless Execution.
Gear & Stats Build
Dracomorph for dungeon wants to be quicker than it’s CB counterpart, have more Accuracy for content like Doom Tower & Arena while having lots of Crit Rate and Damage.
You want AOE Def Down and Weaken placed before your nukers use their skills, so Draco has to go after your speed booster, e.g. Arbiter. 200+ Speed is wanted for that purpose. 220-250 Accuracy is required to safely place the debuffs in Dungeons 20. Crit Rate 100% and Crit Damage 200+ is nice goal to have.

Dungeon Run Teams
Spider 20
Spider in Late Game+ is the fastest dungeon to farm if you’ve got the champions and gear for it. Dracomorph brings AOE Decrease DEF and Weaken that is not affected by affinity, so he shines here with champions that can quickly deal lots of DPS
Budget Build
The featured budget team relies on Dracomorph for debuffs. They allows one Takedown from RG and two A2 Coldheart skills to fully wipe away the spiderlings. This prevents the Spider boss from eating them and restoring health. Coldhearts deplete the big Spider turn meter and deal MAX HP damage to finish the run
Speed Build
In case you have a better roster it’s possible to improve on that time and farm Spider 20 faster. Dracomorph places the debuffs, Gurptuk amplifies the damage, Septimus deals massive MAX HP damage and RG finishes the job.
Fire Knight 20
Budget Build
In the budget run Coldheart and Rhazin are the multi-hitters that take down the shield and the rest of the cast supports them and keeps them alive. Note the damage from Dracomorph with this build done due to poisons despite being negative affinity in this dungeon.
Speed Build
Speed runs with Fire Knight are not very easy. Champions that are good for fast wave farming are not always the most optimal for taking down the FK shield. Furthermore, many champions don’t use their skills optimally on the boss, e.g. Dracomorph can waste his A3 if the shield is up.
In this team Dracomorph takes care of the debuffs, Lyssandra control the turn meter of the waves and the boss, Coldhearts are multi-hitters, MAX HP nukers and deplete the TM. Septimus provide massive MAX HP damage
Ice Golem 20
Dracomorph is one of the best in slot champions for Ice Golem 20. Apart from fast wave clearing, when Poison debuffs deal damage to Ice Golem, his Frigid Vengeance doesn’t activate. This makes him valuable if your other champions don’t deal lots of direct damage.
Team Build
Dracomorph, Kael and Tayrel are accompanied by Gorgorab and Archmage Hellmut to keep the team alive. Speed runs can be tricky on Ice Golem. Survival is paramount for stable runs and Lilitu is the MVP in this comp that keeps the Debuffers and DPS champions alive.
