Georgid the Breaker Late Game Build Guide
Georgid is a Void legendary champion in the Knights Revenant faction. He is currently one of the strongest damage dealers in the game. His main use is in Arena to get through tanky teams. This guide will mainly focus on his PvP performances with some showcases in PvE.
Skills
Georgid has incredible damage multipliers on all of his skills:
- His A1 attacks an enemy twice with a 30% chance of repeating the attack : this skill hits extremely hard and can take out any champion, even tankier ones if the extra attack happens. This also makes Georgid a viable option against Yumeko/Warlord as he does not need to rely on skills to kill them outright.
- His A2 is an AoE attack. This attack decrease enemies Turn Meters by 30% that cannot be resisted and it also gives him an Unkillable buff if this attack kills an enemy: this can be used to keep him alive after his initial nuke.
- His A3 is his main nuke skill. It is a single target hit that ignores Strengthen, Unkillable, Block Damage, Increase Def, Ally Protection, Shield and most importantly Stoneskin. This skill grants him an extra turn if this kills an enemy, allowing him to get into a kill streak faster and making his cycle through his skills much faster.
- His passive grants him a 50% chance to ignore 50% of enemy’s Def on any of his hit. This makes using him a bit RNG as the damage swing can be big between the passive activating or not.
Overall his kit makes him one of the top nukers in Raid at the time of writing and a solid metagame champion with a particular focus in Arena.
Masteries
For masteries, Offence tree is the main one, with typical nuker masteries to increase damage on first hit and against tanky champions with Helmsmasher T6 for more Defence ignore.
The secondary tree is not as relevant, you can either take Defence tree for counter attacks or Support for Lore of Steel. Georgid is very squishy so Defence tree only makes sense if you have appropriate protection from the rest of your team such as Nekhret shield.
Gear & Stats Build
As a typical nuker, the best sets for Georgid are Savage and Lethal. Best in slot secondary set is Cruel for the optimal damage build. In general there are two different builds for him:
- Slow build: building Georgid as slow as you can to avoid hitting into Reaction, best used with protection champs (Nekhret/Duchess/Maneater/Helicath) and a lockout such as Yumeko or Warlord. This team used to be the go to in early 2023 to counter very slow teams such as Cupidus/Venus or typical Nekhret teams.
- Fast build: every hit of his is a threat, getting him to cycle turns more often would ensure more kills. This build is also more relevant for Live Arena, since its introduction the meta teams are usually built much faster.
Recommended Main Stats
Attack and Crit Damage are the main focus for damage:
- Gloves: Crit Damage
- Chest: Atk%
- Boots: Atk%/Speed
- Ring: Atk
- Amulet: Crit Damage
- Banner: Atk
Note that this build assumes 100% Crit Rate as default. For accessories, Reaction or Refresh are usually the best for him.
Arena Team & Strategy
As stated previously, despite having very good damage making Georgid an elite nuker, he has 2 main weaknesses. His Passive making his damage inconsistent which is a problem against very tanky teams. Furthermore, his low survivability making building him slow without appropriate protection a bad idea. Two different teams are used in this showcase:
- Duchess – Georgid – Harima – Ultimate Deathknight: this team deals with single target nuker teams such as Mortu and Rotos team.
This team also allows Georgid to be slower to wait out Reaction. UDK is to be built in 2 turn Stoneskin and as slow as possible as he is mainly there for his passive. Duchess ideally in Bolster and fast to protect our nukers. Harima serves as secondary damage dealer, her passive also provides good protection.
- Arbiter – Kymar – Basher – Georgid (ideal team would be Arbiter – Yumeko – Georgid – Nekhret), this is a typical speed team.
Second option with Nekhret is safer and can be your quick farm team to climb up or if you are confident in your speed, this team is also good against speed defs.
