Krisk the Ageless is a legendary void affinity champion from the lizard men faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is a fantastic champion, one of the best you will find in Raid, with a variety of impressive buffs and debuffs. Featuring some of the best defensive capabilities in Raid, he can be easily built and used in a variety of content types. Krisk the Ageless End Game Build Guide
Krisk is one of the most versatile and useful legendaries in game, with multiple top tier skills that are usually found in different champions. As such, you want Krisk to stay alive for as long as possible to benefit your team. Krisk is a monster in arena for 4 key reasons that couple very well together:
- AOE Taunt provides excellent crowd control and lures enemies to trigger his passive
- Decrease defence and decrease attack on hit due to passive, weakening the enemy
- Excellent protection with ally protect, ally healing, and defence up for himself.
- Excellent damage
Skills
Krisk can synergize and provide best results with:
- AOE Counter-attack to trigger A1 every time after a taunt in arena, landing up to 4 A1 AOEs
- Another ally protect to protect Krisk after he is focused after taunt
- Defence up to protect Krisk and get more damage out of Krisk
Krisk can do a lot of damage even in non-damage builds, and is a champion worth as much investment as you can afford. He is useful for arena and clan boss, and is often used as a shield tank in dungeons, but here we focus on where he shines the greatest: arena.
There are damage builds for Krisk, but we want to highlight him as a defensive monster to terrorize your enemies, even when solo. Build wise we go down the resistance tree and aim for retribution (A1 is an aoe with decrease speed) and +50 resistance. Lasting gifts is worth getting in support for Krisk’s multiple buffs to allies.
Gear & Stats Build
Krisk is excellent in a shield set for this build because his HP pool base stat is reasonable (19k) and he benefits from both the shield set bonus (30% shield for all allies) and his passive (50% shield for all allies). Coupled with a high resist team your enemy has to pass an accuracy check or face stripping a 80% Krisk’s HP shield from all your champions.
Krisk benefits from HP, Defence, Resistance, Speed, and some accuracy. You usually face off against high speed high accuracy enemies, so your own accuracy doesn’t need to be much higher than 200 (to land taunt and decrease speed). Krisk needs high resistance for high level Arena (550+, preferrably 630+), and decent defence to tank the ally protect damage (4k-5k ideally).
Recommended Main Stats
- Glove: Def %/ Crit Rate%
- Chest: Resist / Def%
- Boots: Speed
- Ring: Def
- Amulet: Def
- Banner: Res / Acc
Arena Teams & Strategy
Krisk in a shield set is an easy win vs even the best blender teams (Arbiter, Longbeard, Skullcrown, Sinesha). In action, Krisk often doesn’t do much in earlier rounds due to his low speed. The shield and his passive triggers from any enemy aoe, unless they are protected with an immunity set. Krisk shines in longer battles, especially in 1v1 or 1v2 situations.
Additionally, Krisk in arena is weak against particular champions, and I detail the ones commonly seen:
- Lyssandra is typically built with high speed and low resistance. When she attacks Krisk she immediately gets debuffed with Decrease ATK and DEF. However, Lyssandra can transfer these debuffs immediately back to Krisk with no accuracy check, meaning Krisk (even a high 700 resistance one) is effectively debuffing himself. The defence down is extremely damaging Krisk.
- Secondly buff strippers or defence down champions such as Suzerain Katonn and Ghostborn weaken Krisk and its allies without fail, followed up by a nuke from Trunda or similar high damage aoe champions.
- Thirdly high accuracy (600+) buff stripping champions such as: Madame Serris, Gurgoh, and Yannica.
- Deflection sets (sets in Raid don’t require accuracy).
Krisk is a sneaky one despite his size though! When enemy AOEs come in, they hit your team in order of placement, that means not all champions receive damage at the same time. If you put Krisk 2nd (because he doesn’t have an aura), that means his reduced attack-defence passive will trigger on the enemy attacker before it hits your 3rd and 4th champion. Watch as Trunda does far less damage and Valk produces a smaller shield. This forces your opponents to use either immunity gear or have an immunity lead (Siphi, Duchess). So while Krisk does have vulnerabilities as outlined above, he also many smart strengths that can trap ill-prepared attackers.
Dungeon Run Teams & Strategy
Spider 20
Krisk in the Arena setup with a Shield set can be useful in nearly all other PVE settings. There is no dungeon level or content where he is bad in the role of a superior defender. In this example a budget Tank + Max HP nuke build with Krisk takes down Spider 20. Note that this Krisk has less than 200 accuracy and doesn’t aggro all the spiderlings. However, his massive shield allows Coldhearts to take damage from poisons and survive without any problems.
The speed for the other featured champions can be found in the respective guides found here at Gaming Elephant. Krisk will work in many other types of spider teams including AOE HP burn, poison burst, Counterattack teams and so on. He will be your reliable partner for any level of spider.
Dragon 20
On Dragon 20 as the most popular dungeon for players this Krisk serves much the same role as in all others. He provides good defence for all of the team and helps control and tank the waves and the boss. In this example team shown in the image below you can see a non-optimised budget composition, that relies on Zargala and Seer for clearing waves and frozen Banshee for ensuring the poisons tick down on the Dragon to ensure his demise.
Faction wars
Finally, the more difficult content in the game (Faction wars) becomes quite easy with Krisk due to the factors already mentioned previously. Krisk is amazing for the waves if you have the DPS to deal enough damage while the shield lasts.
Note that on the boss once the shield does wear off Krisk is not so amazing in saving the team. However, ally protection and buffs allow him to provide enough survivability for the team to allow obtaining 3 stars for faction wars 21 without much trouble. The team composition is built up of the following additional champions:
- Fu-Shan
- Bogwalker
- Rhazin Scarhide
- Haruspex
