Royal Huntsman is a legendary spirit affinity champion from the High Elves faction in Raid Shadow Legends. This champion features one of the hardest hitting A3 abilities in all of Raid, with the capability of destroying tanks, as the ability will ignore defense. Since he is capable of dealing such high volumes of damage, he can be used at a wide variety of content, from the Arena to general PVE. He is particularly useful in the doom tower, which we will cover in-depth during this Royal Huntsman Champion Guide.

Royal Huntsman Doom Tower Build Guide
Royal Huntsman is one of the highest single target DPS champions in the game and is utilized mainly as a way to one shot difficult targets with his A3 ability that ignores 100% Defence. One niche he occupies in the game is the ability to pass the hardest Doom Tower waves that consist of Siphi and Rotos without needing Seer setup on the team.
Skills
While he can apply AOE Def Down to enemies on critical hits, investing books and into those capabilities is not recommended as there are many other champions in the game that can provide this kit and bring more utility. Do not spend books outside of booking A3.
Masteries
Offense tree is the logical selection for masteries. The choice between Defense and Support trees is up to you as we only care about damage.
Bring It Down and Ruthless Ambush are important masteries for providing Royal Huntsman with straight damage increases on his A3. The rest of the masteries provide some utility such as a Shield when he kills someone or increasing damage to targets under shields – This is selected due to krisks in Doom Tower, however, it can be used in multiple places, such as arena as well. The final offense mastery we take is Flawless Execution, for the reason that he already ignores 100% of defense on his A3, so a boost to Crit Damage provides the best increase in damage for one shotting a champion.
We use the Defense tree for two reasons: the first is that Royal Huntsman is a glass cannon, he deals a lot of damage but dies just as fast. The Defense tree just helps him a little bit with survivability. The bigger reason though is his aA1 places an increase attack buff on himself when he crits with it, and defense gives counter attacks. The aim of this interaction is to keep permanent uptime of increase attack to ensure his a3 does maximum damage. It’s also worth noting that his other skills do hit fairly hard as well.
Gear & Stats Build
For this build, sets are not so important. We don’t care about savage sets because he already ignores defense on his main skill. The goal is just to push his stats as high as possible offensively, because of this, defense stats become secondary. The goal is to get high Crit Damage and attack with 100% Crit Rate. You do not require 100% crit rate for this build as the goal is to be one shot someone in doom tower waves, and you can always retry the stage for free, but you will lose time. However, do not neglect crit rate. Speed is also less important, we need him to take a turn before the enemy, but using speed and TM boosters makes this stat less important.

Recommended Sets (in order)
- Crit Damage
- Cruel/Attack/Divine Offense/Fatal
- Crit rate sets (base crit rate, divine crit rate, lethal etc..) & swift parry

As you become more comfortable you should start to focus more heavily on your crit rate (90+ is recommended). The move on to focusing on attack and crit damage, third priority is speed, followed by accuracy and finally hp/defense. You should ignore Resistance unless you are struggling with Hegemon or Tormin.
Strategy & Tactics for Doom Tower
Royal huntsman is a fantastic champion to be able to kill almost any champ and there are few he can’t one shot in doom tower. He can dish out 151-180k+ damage to Siphi. On floor 114 with this build, he was overkilling champs for 30k. It is important to note that the Decrease Defense from Serris doesn’t help his damage at all, the only thing that will have an impact are the buffs like Critical Damage Increase, Increase Attack and the Weaken debuff. If you choose to use Weaken you could be easily hitting over 200k damage with his A3. The aim of this guide is not to showcase his maximum hit, but to highlight that he can one shot and help you pass this content.
This guide highlights his damage in hard Doom Tower waves, as the 2 best strategies for Doom Tower waves (especially the harder ones like 114 double siphi wave) is to be able to either control the enemies or instantly kill them, and Royal Huntsman is capable of doing that second part. In this team composition:
- Psylar reduces the Turn Meter of the opponents allowing your team to have lower speed. Additional Crowd Control from the stun set is also welcome.
- Royal Huntsman & Shamael can both one shot siphi before the opponents take a turn.
- Ma’shalled provide CC to reduce incoming damage as well as Crit Damage buff and 2 buffs for Shamael.
- Arbiter grants TM boost to reduce speed requirements, ATK Up buff and provides AOE revive in an emergency.
