Skeuramis Late Game Build Guide

Skeuramis is a fairly new champion in the world of Teleria. All his skills are aimed at controlling the enemies and this can be useful to progress through any content of the game. This guide is for a universal PvE build but Skeuramis doesn’t have a high CB potential as the Decrease ATK debuff is not at a 100% chance and he only places buffs on himself, so CB won’t be showcased here.

Skills

His A1 has a high chance to steal part of the opponent’s Turn Meter with a small chance to Stun them if their TM is fully depleted. His A2 reduces the duration of buffs on enemies by 1 turn and has a 75% chance to place an Decrease ATK debuff on enemies. Although the chance is not 100%, it is still high enough to be relevant in battles. His A3 places a Provoke debuff on enemies, and a Counterattack plus Continuous Heal buffs on himself. Moreover, he has a useful aura that increases the HP of allies by 25% in all battles.

Please note the excellent synergy in his skills, which is not immediately evident: After attacking Skeuramis, enemies have empty turn meter and thanks to Counterattack buff, Skeuramis hits the enemies and can place a Stun. This gives us a small chance to control the enemies for 2 turns. This is not consistent but it is an excellent option. Decrease ATK debuff will reduce incoming damage, thus Regeneration set is enough to maintain a high level of HP, without additional sets of artifacts or dedicated healers.

In this guide, Skeuramis is completely booked, as they reduce skill cooldowns and increase the chances of placing debuffs, which is important.

Masteries

Warmaster T6 mastery is the great choice for PvE content to deal more damage to Bosses. Single Out from the Offense branch and other damage increasing masteries are selected. The Support branch is preferred as secondary branch for Master Hexer and Sniper masteries to extend the duration and increase the chance of placing Decrease ATK debuff.

Gear & Stats Build

Skeuramis can use any set of artifacts in this build. It’s worth noting right away that if you still want to use him in CB, then the best choice for him is the Lifesteal set. Skeuramis is not showcased in CB here, giving us more options.

Perception, Accuracy, Resilience or Speed set are great options to get the right stats. Immortal and Regeneration are great options if your enemies deal too much damage and you need more sustain. In this build, Frost set is used as an additional control for enemies in the waves, which complements Skeuramis’ skills set.

We are primarily interested in Accuracy, which depends on the content he will be used in: about 230+ for dungeons, Normal Doom Tower’s floors, Normal and Hard Hydra. Speed is also important for Skeuramis’ role: 210+ is enough. The remaining stats should be directed to increasing survivability: HP and DEF. Resistance would be a nice addition, but not a critical one to focus on. We are not interested in ATK as Skeuramis does not benefit from it.

Dragon 20 Strategy

To highlight this champion’s role, it is quite revealing to watch his gameplay on the 20th floor of the Dragon’s Lair. Here, he simply leaves no chance to enemies on the waves to inflict any significant damage to the team thanks to constant Provoke on enemies, Stun from his A1 or Freeze from the set. On the Dragon itself, the Decrease ATK debuff will prevent the boss from dealing much damage to your team. At this time, the other allies help complete the level faster. Here is an example of a budget composition for Dragon 20 with 3 champions:

  1. Skeuramis for Provoke, Decrease ATK debuff and useful aura.
  2. Shatterbones for Decrease SPD debuff and dps on waves.
  3. Frozen Banshee to quickly kill the Dragon with Poisons.

Ice Golem 20 Run

Skeuramis is a good choice for any dungeon and Ice Golem’s Peak is no exception. Here, in addition to controlling enemies on the waves, he will help with Decrease ATK debuff on the boss itself. Ice Golem can deal significant damage if you activate its counterattack while the minions are alive, so the Decrease ATK debuff is very important when passing this boss. But it is worth noting that the Skeuramis’ Counterattack buff can be a problem, because attacking the boss when the minions are alive is not a good idea, so this skill is best disabled in the AI settings during the boss fight stage.

Here is an example composition for Ice Golem 20:

  1. Skeuramis for CC plus Decrease АTK debuffs.
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing.
  3. Zargala for Decrease DEF and dps.
  4. Rector Drath for healing and revive.
  5. Frozen Banshee to quickly kill the Golem with Poisons.

Fire Knight 20 Team

Skeuramis also performs well in the Fire Knight’s Castle dungeon. Although he does not have a multihit, he has other very useful skills. Of course, there will be no problems with the waves, although lvl 20 is the strong affinity to him, Skeuramis places a Provoke without a hit, which means that weak hits are not a hindrance to us. The Decrease ATK debuff will of course not be placed as effectively, but it will still contribute.

On the boss, Skeuramis can compensate for his single hit A1 with his Counterattack buff and his basic skill steals part of the boss’s TM, which is very useful. Paired with other champions that reduce the Fire Knight’s TM, the boss simply does not have a chance. Here is an example composition for Fire Knight 20:

  1. Skeuramis for CC plus Decrease АTK debuffs and Decrease the bosses Turn Meter.
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing.
  3. Shatterbones for DPS and Decrease SPD debuff.
  4. Tayrel for AOE Decrease DEF plus Decrease АKT debuffs.
  5. Armiger to Decrease the Turn Meter and quickly kill the Boss with MAX HP skill.

Spider 20 Strategy

In the Spider’s Den, Skeuramis can take on 2 different roles depending on your team. The first is to Provoke the spiderlings, which will allow your damage dealers to do their job without worrying that they will take a critical amount of damage from enemies. This tactic is used in quick farm teams if you have champions that deal MAX HP damage to the boss and can win in 1-2 turns.

The second is a tactic where you take one champion of weak affinity, all the damage goes only to him, but at the same time he is strong enough to survive the damage of the spiders. With this tactic, it is very important to have an Decrease ATK debuff on opponents, which is what Skeuramis does. Plus he steals some of the Boss Turn Meter which helps us delay the boss turn and deal more damage. At the same time, if something goes wrong, he can place Provoke and shift the damage from allies to himself.

Here is an example of second tactic composition for Spider 20:

  1. Tayrel for decrease DEF and Boss TM.
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing.
  3. Rhazin Scarhide for tanking damage from spiderlings with Lifesteal set and GS T6.
  4. Skeuramis for Decrease АTK debuffs and Decrease the Boss Turn Meter.
  5. Armiger to decrease the Turn Meter and quickly kill the Boss with MAX HP skill.

Hydra Teams

The Skeuramis skill set can come in very handy on Hydra. Provoke is especially helpful to deal with Head of Decay. Also, the Decrease ATK debuff is hard to underestimate on this boss, especially when you have Head of Wrath in front of you.

Although high difficulties are only available with strong champions and gear, on Normal difficulty, you can take the last chest with fairly budget teams. Here is an team example of budget team:

  1. Skeuramis for Provoke and Decrease ATK debuff.
  2. Geomancer for DPS.
  3. Godseeker Aniri for reviving and healing.
  4. Uugo for Decrease DEF and Block Buffs debuff.
  5. Ronda for DPS.
  6. Skytouched Shaman for healing and Block Debuffs buff.

Of course champions can be replaced by any others with a similar role.

Doom Tower

If Normal difficulty of Doom Tower is no longer a hindrance for your account and you are interested in champions for passing Hard difficulty, then Skeuramis is worth your attention. The tactics and tasks of this champion are the same as on the easier difficulty, we just need to increase the accuracy and speed stats. The build can be left the same, but then you need good supports.

Here is an example of a team that made it through level 118 Hard difficulty Iragoth Eternal Dragon rotation:

  1. Archbishop Pinthroy for ACC aura and buff, healing plus useful buffs and debuffs.
  2. Venomage for DPS by Poisons.
  3. Skeuramis for Provoke and Decrease ATK debuff.
  4. Mother Cybele for Decrease SPD debuff.
  5. Elva Autumnborn for cleansing, Block debuff and Increase SPD buffs plus revive.

Faction Wars

Skeuramis also excels in Faction Wars. Thanks to his Provoke, you can safely take DD without high HP and DEF to the team. And the Decrease ATK debuff will not allow the team to take serious damage from enemies even on the 21st floor. Here is an example of a team for level 21:

  1. Skeuramis for Provoke and Decrease ATK debuff.
  2. Apothecary for Increase SPD buff and healing.
  3. Tayrel for AOE Decrease DEF debuff.
  4. Royal Guard for DPS.
  5. Yannica for DPS.
