Hephraak is a legendary magic affinity champion from the demonspawn faction in Raid Shadow Legends. This champion is one of the hardest hitting PVP champions available to players. His A3 is arguably his best skill, which places a 50% increased attack, 30% increased crit rate on himself and grants an extra turn. The additional turn can then be used to implement his A2 ability which will attack all enemies with high hitting damage capabilities. All in all Hephraak is an excellent nuker champion to use in the arena, we’ll provide an in-depth overview of Hephraak’s build, gear and team compositions for the arena in this guide. Although, its important to note, he is also useful in general PVE content too, due to his ability to deal high amounts of damage. He is particularly strong in the Doom Tower and Dungeon Raids.

Hephraak Late Game Arena Guide
Hephraak is a legendary attack champion from the Demonspawn faction. He is rightfully considered one of the strongest damage dealers in the game due to his skills, which you need to take a closer look at. He is widely used in all types of Arena although he needs the correct team to make the most out of him not least for protecting him from damage.
Skills
- His A1 is not too special : attacks the enemy once and places an extra hit if this attack is critical.
- A2 attacks all enemies and places an extra hit on targets with less than 50% HP after the first hit. If the conditions are met, the damage that the enemy receives is extremely high. This is the bread and butter skill.
- The A3 skill places Increase ATK and Crit Rate buffs on himself then grants an extra turn. A very cool ability that allows him to independently self buff and can free up the need to pick up supports with such a buff.
His passive skill instantly activates A2 whenever an ally is killed regardless of A2 cooldown. This skill grants the opportunity to draw up several tactics and we will consider one of them in this guide. In order to use Hephraak’s full damage potential, we need to give him at least 2 books in A2, which will maximize his damage.
It is worth noting that Hephraak has low HP and DEF and no defensive skills, which makes him unsuitable for drawn out battles. His task is to quickly defeat enemies. For him, a speed team is a good option and there is also a special trap team with a food-champion that will help activate Hephraak’s passive.
Masteries
Best option for Hephraak is Offense tree and Helmsmasher T6 as long as your Crit Rate is maxed and Crit Damage is over 230+. Heart of Glory and Bring it Down as well as other masteries that increase damage will be useful to us. The second branch is Defense with Retribution and Deterrence masteries to deal more damage.
The best Blessing for Hephraak is Soul Reap to increase his damage or Lightning Cage to protect the support buffs that he will be protected with if you use this type of team.
Gear & Stats Build
There are 2 most popular gear options for Hephraak in Arena:
- Savage or Lethal sets for maximum damage. This is the number one choice if you have Nekhret the Great as he can protect Hephraak from enemy damage dealers with a shield and block debuffs. Alternatively another champion who can protect your DPS like Goffred Brassclad or even Maneater work.
- Stone Skin set for survivability is also a popular option. With Stoneskin you can use the trap-team with food-champion to activate Hephraak’s passive skill and this tactic doesn’t work with Nekhret the Great.
There are other options too like Swift Parry set, but they are less effective and not as common.
In addition to artifacts Reaction Accessories are a highly important aspect. They allow him to avoid Critical Damage if Stone Skin is removed. Speed should be low so that the Reaction Accessories and Stoneskin effects remain active for as long as possible and enemies Reaction Accessories deactivated before Hephraak takes a turn.
Since Hephraak is an attack champion and his task is to deal damage, we are only interested in attacking stats, the Сrit Rate can be left at 70% since he will receive a buff, however, I recommend keeping this figure at least 85% if you are counting on his passive skill. Crit Damage and ATK are our priority targets stats, the rest of the characteristics are not of interest to us.
Recommended Main Stats
- Gloves – Crit Damage
- Chest – ATK%
- Boots – ATK%
- Ring – ATK
- Amulet – Crit Damage
- Banner – ATK.
Arena Team Build
In the arena, we will use a trap-team. The essence is that we put a food champion in the team that is very easily killed by the enemy damage dealer. Hephraak activates his passive skill, attacks with an AOE and kills the enemy team.
Speedy enemy teams are suitable for this tactic, especially with Hegemon, Warlord and other popular CC champion who hit our team. This is a great option if you can’t outspeed your opponent or doubt your own speed team.
This tactic works poorly against good defensive teams, as usually we just don’t have enough damage, and there are also difficulties with teams that have buff strippers, like Prince Kymar or Ramantu Drakesblood, who can remove a Stone Skin set from Hephraak. With the classic Arena full of defensive teams and fewer and fewer fast teams, Hephraak is at his best in Tag Team Arena, where there is a variety of enemies teams and suitable opponents often meet.
Here is an example of the team:
- Hephraak for DPS.
- Exemplar is food-champion who should die for activation Hephraak’s passive skill. She also has a Crit Rate increasing aura for Hephraak especially if Hephraak has about 70% Crit Rate.
- Lydia the Deathsiren for block revive if enemies suport dont die after Hephraak’s attack and try revive team.
- Magnarr second DPS champion in Stone Skin set. He will finish off the enemies if the damage from Hephraak is not enough. In addition, since a Hephraak can have some problems with force affinity champions, a champion with the spirit affinity is well suited for this role.
Any position can be changed to your liking, the main thing is to have Hephraak in the Stone Skin set and a weak champion that dies easily for the combo to work.
