Longbeard is a legendary magic affinity champion from the skinwalkers faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is a unique champion because he is one of the few that posses an ally attack ability. This ability works by having an allied champion join longbeard via an ally attack and they will always use their A1. Since the skill used is always an A1, it is important to pair Longbeard with a champion that has AOE on their A1. All in all, Longbeard is an excellent champion for Clan Boss and the Arena, he also proves himself useful in areas such as Faction Wars. All three of these areas will be covered in detail during this champion guide.

Longbeard Clan Boss Build Guide
Longbeard is a Magic affinity Legendary from the Skinwalker faction. He is one of the few champions with an Ally Attack ability and is best in terms of raw damage as his Ally Attack ability provides all allies an additional 20% damage when they ally attack. Additionally, he also has a very unique ability that’s often overlooked. He has the ability to place 25% Weaken on a 2 turn cooldown which allows him to fit into some very strong Clan Boss comps.
While booking Longbeard is not necessary as it only increase damage and lower cooldowns, it does help improve his overall damage for content where his damage matters, specifically Clan Boss.
Masteries
Masteries on him will vary depending on where you use him. For Clan Boss, the Offense and Defense Tree is recommended. In the Offense tree, take the standard Crit Rate, Crit Damage, all the standard damage increasing masteries on the left most column down to T6 Warmaster. In the Defense tree, take the damage mitigation masteries in Tough Skin, Blastproof, Resurgent, Delayed Death, and both T5 Counterattacking Masteries.
Gear & Stats Build
The best gear set to use on Longbeard for Clan Boss is Reflex set to lower the cooldowns on his abilities because most of his damage comes from his Ally Attack ability. So, the more times he can use his abilities, the more damage your team can do. Following the same logic, Refresh Accessories are extremely valuable on him. It is worth sacrificing stats on him equip the Refresh Accessories on him. For his secondary set, you can use any stat increasing set or broken pieces that help achieve the stats you need such as Cruel, Perception, Crit Damage, etc.
The most important stat to have on him for an Unkillable team is speed. Make sure he has the right speed to meet your CB speedtune. Then, build him with 100% Crit Rate and as much Crit Damage and Atk as possible. If you need him to apply the Weaken Debuff, build him with at least 235 Accuracy as well.
Recommended Main Stats
- Glove: Crit Damage %
- Chest: Atk %
- Boots: Speed/Atk %
- Ring: Attack
- Amulet: Crit Damage
- Banner: Attack / Accuracy
Unkillable Clan Boss Team & Strategy
Longbeard is able to fit is some of the highest damage dealing end-game unkillable CB comps since he offers 25% weaken which most of these comps need. The first example of this would be the Deacon Myth Salad comp. The way this team functions is as follows:
- Deacon provides the 19% speed aura, TM boost, and Dec Defense.
- Ma’shalled provides the Inc Speed Buff to enable to speedtune and DPS.
- Demytha provides buff extension to keep the Inc Speed buff up on all allies, and the Block damage buff to keep the team unkillable.
- Kreela as one of the DPS champions (can be replaced by any other DPS champion).
- Longbeard as one of the DPS champions who provides the 25% Weaken Debuff needed in this comp.
This comp does require quite a high level of speed and good quality artifact to work but is currently one of the highest damage unkillable comps. It works on Brutal, NM, and UNM but unfortunately only works on Void affinity.
Myth Fu Clan Boss Team & Strategy
This second comp we will be using Longbeard is in the Myth Fu comp. This comp is much less artifact and speed intensive, is affinity friendly, and also works on Brutal, NM and UNM full auto from the start. Although this comp does not require as high speed as the previous comp it’s still quite high. The way this team functions is as follows:
- Fu-shan provides the 24% speed aura, Dec Defense, and DPS.
- Heiress provides the Inc Speed Buff to enable to speedtune, debuff removal, and DPS.
- Demytha provides buff extension to keep the Inc Speed buff up on all allies, and the Block damage buff to keep the team unkillable.
- Seeker provides TM boost to keep the comp in tune and Inc Attack buff.
- Longbeard as the DPS champions who also provides the 25% Weaken Debuff needed in this comp.
Faction Wars Runs
Longbeard is also a fantastic champion for the Skinwalkers Faction as this faction have limited raw damage dealers. His ally attack provides a huge damage boost.
Skinwalkers 21 is often considered the hardest Faction Wars due to the boss’ HP swap ability when its low. You need to be able to deal enough damage within the 12 turns cd of the ability or you’ll never be able to beat the boss. Additionally, the boss also has the ability to swap all your Buffs to it and transfers all it’s Debuffs to all your champions. Due to this, it can be difficult to 3* this stage on auto, so manualling it to time your abilities, buffs, and debuffs for the first time is highly suggested. This is an example of a FW21 comp:
- Brakus – DPS.
- Longbeard – DPS, burst DPS with his ally attack.
- Fayne – Offers tons of debuffs to increase your DPS (but can also be dangerous if the debuffs transfers back to you) and DPS.
- Hoforees – Support and Reviver.
- Flesh-Tearer – Provides a heal (Not the best, but didn’t have any other better options such as Steelskull or Hakkorn).
If you are struggling to get a healer, gear your team with Lifesteal gear and Longbeard’s ally attack will essentially heal them all back up.
Longbeard Arena Build Guide
Apart from PVE content, As an Ally Attack champion, Longbeard can be used and is one of the best champions to use in the Arena Blender teams. His ally attack is the highest raw damage output for this comp simply because he also increases damage inflicted by 20% on the ally attack.
Masteries
Masteries for arena is slightly different than PVE. We will instead take the Offense and Support tree. In the Offense tree, take masteries that increase the damage on the first hit. Masteries like RUTHLESS AMBUSH and HEART OF GLORY. The goal is to be able to kill enemies in 2 seconds so we need to be pushing as much damage as we can. For this reason, we also take HELMSMASHER as our T6 mastery, just to be further pushing our damage and ensure they don’t survive the ally attack from longbeard. In the Support tree, the main purpose of this tree is LORE OF STEEL, the reason for it is because we need our longbeard to be speed tuned with our speed booster (normally Arbiter), because of this we need to make sure he has as much speed as we can get, for gold 4 it’s probably going to be close to 300 speed required. We also take the accuracy early masteries because he does have a weaken debuff that doesn’t hurt to land, but it will be rare that comes into play.
Gear & Stats Build
In an PVP Arena Blender build, the main goal is to gear Longbeard so he is speed tuned with the speed booster so, SPEED is the #1 stat we need. Refer to the Arena Calculator to determine the speed you need to go right after your Speed Booster so you don’t get cut in. Once you hit the speed, you can build him with damage, Crit rate, Attack and Crit damage. Speed sets is obviously recommended, but any other sets will work as long as you are speedtuned.

Arena Strategy & Tactics
Longbeard’s primary use in Arena team is in blender teams (booster – ally attack – double a1 AoE attacks), the most common is Arbiter into Longbeard then Sinesha and Skullcrown as your damage. Teams like this can speed farm arena incredibly fast, with most battles only lasting 2 seconds.
If you run a blender team with Longbeard, remember that the placement of you champions matter. The ally attack will have champions attack in the order they are placed. With skullcrown and sinesha specifically (the most common duo for this) make sure that skullcrown is before sinesha as she does an extra attack when enemies are OVER 50% hp and sinesha does an extra attack when enemies are UNDER 50%.
The easy way to work out which position a champion is in is simple. Clear all champions from the battle screen, then click the champions in. The order they get dropped in, is the position they are. So the leader, will always be the first to attack, followed by the top spot (2nd) then bottom (3rd) and lastly the one in the middle on the left. You want to ensure that Skullcrown is before Sinesha for this type of team
While this team is good for speed farming, it does have some weaknesses. First, you will most likely lose the fight if you are slower than the enemy team. Second, this team is weak to Hegemon (Unless your entire team is gear in Immunity set). Finally, tanky defensive teams which includes champions such as Duchess, Ursuga, Nekhret, Seeker, Reaction Accessories, Shield sets and/or Stoneskin sets.
