Raid Shadow Legends: Mithrala Lifebane Champion Guide

Mithrala Lifebane is a legendary void affinity champion from the dark elves faction in Raid Shadow Legends. She is the first champion to have the petrification debuff, which will remove all buffs, prevent any future buffs and also stun the target for the duration of the debuff. However, it is important to note that the petrified champion will take significantly less damage during this time, with the exception of bombs. Her A4 ability will increase Mithrala’s resistance based on the amount of accuracy she has in her stats. While her A3 can be used to remove all debuffs from team mates and place a strengthen buff and shield for additional support.

Mithrala Lifebane End Game Guide

Mithrala is a guaranteed Void Legendary champion that you can get by farming Hydra. She joins the ranks of other top tier free champions like Arbiter and Lydia you can get in Raid by progressing. She is useful in a multitude areas of the game and this guide cover her in two end game Areas: Platinum Arena and Brutal Hydra.

Platinum Arena Guide

Skills

She is worth fully booking for maximum efficiency with A3 and A2 being a priority. Her A3 removes all debuffs from allies and places Strengthen and a shield on them equal to 30% of her HP. This is a prime ability for many areas of the game and is especially useful in go-second teams for Arena as it allows your allies to shake off Crowd Control (CC) effects such as Stun and Sleep and turn the battle around. It is likewise useful in PVE against multiple bosses including Hydra.

Her A2 places Hex on all enemies and buffs allies with Increase Attack and Defense. If Mithrala does place Hex on enemies it will not only increase the damage they take, but it will also enable her passive to petrify enemies that hit her for additional CC option. Together her skills allow your team to be highly resistant to damage and reasonably safe from enemy CC

Masteries

The choice of talents for Mithrala is based on the intended use. For Arena and general PVE use focusing on her Accuracy and general tankiness makes good sense with Eagle Eye. However, if you were using Mithrala exclusively for PVE you could reach the required stats for her easily in end game and opt for additional DPS with Warmaster as the T6 mastery.

Platinum Arena demands sacrifices and every point in Accuracy counts. Additionally, her passive increases her Resistance proportionate to Accuracy. Thus this build will be opting for Eagle Eye as the final mastery picking all the Accuracy nodes and masteries that reduce damage taken.

Gear & Stats Build

The best Arena set in Raid in Summer 2022 for both Offence and Defense is Stoneskin. It is difficult to break through with enemy damage dealers, and due to high Resistance of Mithrala, it is hard to remove Stoneskin from her. To do this, the enemy will most likely use a champion that will grant an Accuracy bonus to his buff stripers, but at the same time they only have a 50/50 chance of success if they pass the Accuracy sets. In addition, we should be wary of CC sets including Taunt, Sleep and Stun that ignore Resistance, so stone skin will be the best choice.

But if you are unfortunate enough to suffer without a good Stoneskin set, you can replace it with an Immunity or Untouchable set. Both of them will save us from CC sets and Untouchable will grant additional 40 Resistance.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Glove: HP%
  • Chest: Accuracy
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: HP
  • Amulet: HP with Accuracy substats
  • Banner: Accuracy

If you can spare Reaction Jewelery for Mithrala this will considerably increase her ability to tank hits during the first round in Arena

Mithrala Lifebane Platinum Arena build and gear

Roles

Mithrala is an excellent champion for Arena Offense and Defense and used in top Platinum teams. When attacking she can do the following:

  1. Cleanse CC from Hegemon, Kymar and others
  2. Provide Atk bonus for champions such as Trunda, Leorius, Candraphon etc
  3. Provide Def bonus for champions such as Soulless, Ragash and other

Team Build

Teams such as Kymar, Lyssandra, Mithrala + Leorius/Ragash are a viable option for Platinum Arena.

However, she shines the most in Defense:

  1. Cleanse of CC from all enemies and debuffs from Lydia, Serris, Ramantu
  2. Her main attraction is the survivability amplification due to Defense Up, Strengthen and Shield. It’s hard to quickly defeat a Def team under all those buffs and problematic to CC Mithrala herself. This makes it likely for her to take a turn and provide value. Of note is how well this can work against attacking meta teams with Yumeko and Warlord. Her skills are unlikely to be reset due to high Resistance and her skills can make the team survive while champions like Candraphon can easily take out the enemies using only his A1.
  3. Petrification is excellent for long battles but in Platinum it’s not reliable as it’s not 100% chance to land

Mithrala is not invincible. Tormin can Freeze the team when she is buffing them and she can die before she takes a turn. Focusing on her Accuracy and Resistance takes away from her HP and DEF. This makes Reaction accessories almost a necessity in Platinum tier against meta DPS champions like Trunda.

Here’s an example of a Defense team:

  • Kymar lead in Stoneskin for stripping buffs, Skill reset and Sleep CC
  • Candraphon as dps in Swift Parry/Lethal
  • Lilitu in Stoneskin
  • Mithrala in Immunity type set

This combination allows the team to survive and win against many teams. Kymar could be replaced with Warlord, Yumeko, Hegemon or Nekhret. For budget options you could opt for Vogoth or Sandslashed.

Dungeon Runs

Hydra

Mithrala can be useful for increasing the survivability of all the team on any Hydra, providing a plethora of useful buffs. Note that she is used in her arena gear and with the masteries that are not tailored towards PVE. Warmaster would increase her dps as having that much Accuracy is overkill.

Team Build

  1. Mithrala provides Strengthen, Defense and Attack Up as well as AOE shield. Hex serves a number of purposes. It increases the damage from all sources Hydra heads would take and makes it possible to reliably target head of Discord.
  2. Lydia’s goal is to provide Increase Speed, Strengthen and Decrease DEF + Weaken. Additionally Block Buffs can be useful even though it’s single target only.
  3. Aniri heas and ressurects champions. Extending buffs and decreasing enemy buff duration also comes in handy. Complements Mithrala’s abilities well
  4. Geomancer in Relentless is a prime dps on Hydra as his burn works regardless of affinity. Removing buffs is another good skill he provides for this team
  5. Husk in Relentless is excellent for Hydra above Brutal thanks to MAX HP damage. With enough Accuracy can also Provoke the head of Decay
  6. Shamael in Lifesteal can keep himself healthy thanks to frequent counterattacks, especially if the head of Torment is present. Even though it was not in the starting rotation there’s a decent chance of it respawning in Brutal and higher difficulties.

Doom Tower 113

Mithrala can be useful for wave clearing as well. While she is not the best in class in this role and the team cannot be nearly as budget as Seer or Poison Burst compositions at the moment, she can combo well with Hex-based damage dealers such as Thea. Note that Spirit champions can be a problem for this team and Thea needs to have high Crit Rate, Damage and Atk for this to work.

Team Build

The team showcased here consists of:

  1. Lydia for Decrease Defense, Weaken and buffs. Can be replaced with Dracomorph, Venus and others
  2. Mithrala for Hex, Attack Up and Cleanse
  3. Thea as damage dealer to nuke the waves
  4. Kymar for Skill reset (Yumeko or Renegade are alternatives)
  5. Psylar for Initial AOE TM reduction and Decrease Speed. A fast Psylar can help the rest of the team be built with less speed. Can be replaced with any of the reset skill champions if your artifacts are good on the rest of the team. If you would like a budget alternative CC such as Maulie, Visix and Mashalled among others is also a possibility.

Mithrala can also be used in teams for slower but stable clears by providing Defensive capabilities and occasional CC with Petrification.

Secret Room 11

Mithrala can be used in any of the DT secret rooms where she is allowed to great effect. One such example is the SR 11 on Eternal Dragon Rotation. It’s a fast composition that relies on Seer as the main dps.

Team Build

  1. Mithrala for buffs and Hex for additional damage. She can also provide additional Accuracy with her aura if needed.
  2. Lydia for AOE Decrease Defense and Weaken along with Strengthen and Increase Speed.
  3. Arbiter for TM boost and revive if needed. Can be replaced with many other options such as Renegade or Psylar.
  4. Seer as the best general DPS champions in Doom Tower.
  5. Renegade for skill refresh. Shield set helps with the number of buffs.

Mithrala can be used in SR 2 (Dark Elves), SR 6 (Support champions) and ST 12 (Void champions) on the Frost Spider Rotation and SR 9 (Void Support champions) on the Dark Fae rotation.
