Venus End Game Guide
Venus is one of the best and most versatile legendary champions in the game. Her kit includes AOE Def Down, Weaken, Poisons and HP burn. She is Void affinity and has no weak hits. Up to late game you would normally use her in Clan Boss with Warmaster and speed tune her accordingly. In end game settings she can take on a role of a speed runner and can even solo Dragon 20 with food champions.
Masteries
In this build the focus is on survivability, accuracy and turn meter increases. The masteries have been selected accordingly with Eagle Eye as the last mastery for extra Accuracy.
Gear & Stats Build
Gearing for Solo Dragon 20 requires both sufficient Accuracy and Resistance along with 100% Crit Rate and as much Crit Damage as possible. Speed is required to surpass 200 in order to lap the waves. Lifesteal is mandatory as Venus has to survive and stay alive.
Recommended Main Stats:
- Glove: Crit Dmg % / Crit Rate %
- Chest: Resistance
- Boots: Speed
- Ring: Defense
- Amulet: Crit Dmg %
- Banner: Accuracy
Venus Dungeon Runs
Solo Dragon 20
Venus is able to survive on Dragon 20 and keep the waves under constant debuffs with this setup. AOE HP burn causes the waves to take constant damage and speeds up the runs. Note that her high Resistance in this build allows her to shrug off the debuffs on all stages.
Dragon itself is weak to multiple poisons stacks as they prevent it from using all it’s Dragon breath abilities fully. It’s a race against time and Venus is able to provide enough DPS to solo it.
Spider 20
Spider is another dungeon where Venus can shine. There are two ways to build a team around Venus. The first one utilises her AOE HP burn ability and combines Turn Meter reduction strategies along with Crowd Control or Tankiness. This is usually the way to go about it until end game.
The second focuses on her AOE Decrease Def and Weaken. This strategy allows for the faster clears compared to HP burn strategies and works best when you need to farm silver of win tournaments.
In this example team Lyssandra control the TM, Venus applies the debuffs that Royal Guard need. Both Royal Guards use their Takedown that clears all the spiderlings and deals massive damage to the Spider. Renegade refreshes the abilities and a third (or fourth) Takedown seals the deal.
Fire Knight 20
By the same token Venus can be used on Fire Knight. Decrease Def and Weaken allow the waves to be mowed down by Coldhearts and renegade refreshes their abilities for faster runs. Note that those runs are not optimised to the fullest and serve as a simple showcase.
Ice Golem 20
Venus feel at home on Ice Golem. In addition to her AOE debuffs her poisons help on the boss, as it doesn’t retaliate with Frigid Vengeance if the threshold is crossed from Poison Damage. Normally a slower team would utilise this to slowly grind the boss down.
In end game however, the goal is simply to farm as fast as possible, so Unkillable champions are used in this run to prevent it from failing.
