Warcaster is an epic void affinity champion from the banner lords faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is a relatively strong champion, with great application for various content around the game. However, the two main uses for Warcaster is in Clan Boss and Faction Wars. We will cover both of these areas providing guidance and optimal team compositions for you to use. This guide will also include information on warcasters build, in terms of masteries, skills, gear and stats.

Warcaster Skills Overview
A1: Tactical Ace
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of stealing 2 random buffs from the target.
Upgrades as follows:

- Level 5: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
A2: Sealing Strike
Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns.

A3: Invincible Aura

Warcaster Clan Boss Build Guide
Warcaster is one of the AOE Unkillable champions in the game and he is the core of a few Warcrusher team variations that can even 1 key UNM Clan Boss with a certain setup.
Skills
His skills include the A3 Block Damage skill that needs to be booked fully. The A2 that places Block Debuffs is optional for booking and it can be disabled in the AI setting during the CB fights if you don’t want to waste a buff slot. However, it can come in handy in Faction Wars.
Another noteworthy ability of his is the aura. In this team if you put Warcaster as the leader he can provide extra Critical Rate to himself and Renegade at the minimum, making it a bit easier to reach the 100% cap. This should not affect the targeting of CB if you’re using Skullcrusher for example, as the other champions will have the Counterattack up while he has unkillable.
The featured team consists of Anax, Seeker, Renegade, Warcaster and Kreela. You could replicate this team with another similar champion – Demytha, but you would need only one book in her A3 for it work in the same manner.
Masteries
In terms of masteries they are standard for Clan Boss including Warmaster for the best dps option on the Offense Tree and Defense tree for the counterattack masteries. Deterrence has a special role in the masteries for Warcaster teams as CB that uses its skills on the Stun Boi grants an additional chance to counterattack him for the team that has the masteries.
As usual in the tuned CB teams do not pick masteries that boost the turn meter.
Gear & Stats Build
In terms of gear your main priority should be to reach the required speed setting for all your champions to work. Since you need over 265 Speed for Warcaster, speed sets are a good option.
You can also use one Immortal set to compensate for Clan Boss Poison damage and to prevent him being a target of the stuns, however, it’s not mandatory and you can work purely with the speed sets and the correct masteries.

Team Compositions and Tactics
The basis of the team is the Warcrusher team, originally consisting of Warcaster, Renegade, Seeker, DPS and Stun boi. Usually the stun boi is Skullcrusher, however in this particular composition Kreela takes on this role instead. This is an excellent budget team for 1 key UNM, however you should note that it works well only on void and force affinity CB unless you make modifications.
In this team the speed settings are:
- Warcaster 265
- Renegade 242
- Seeker 245
- Kreela 240
- Anax 218
Warcaster takes on the role of AOE block damage champion Renegade refreshes the skills of the champions. Note that she requires to not be fully booked on A3! Seeker provides the TM boost and speed to cycle through the skills fast enough Kreela is the stun boi and takes the stun during the CB A1 hit Anax is the main DPS and by comparison provides ~20% more damage than Fayne in the same composition
This team works on UNM, NM, and on all affinities. There is a manual setup before you can hit auto.
Faction Wars with Warcaster
On the 21st floor there is a boss with an ally attack skill, as well as assistants with very high damage and ignore def. Warcaster makes it easy to survive these attacks and keep your team alive to achieve the full 3 star completion. The team composition and tactics are as follows:
- Archmage stuns and applies buffs.
- Ursala resurrects allies.
- Warcaster deals damage and provides Block Damage.
- Stag knight places Decrease Atk and Def along with Decrease Speed on individual targets.
- Sethalia removes bonuses from enemies.
