Moss Giants Guide FAQs
Below is some of the most frequently asked questions by players looking to kill Moss Giants for the first time.
Are moss giants good to train on?
Yes, they have low defence and high hit points for their combat level. They also drop mossy keys which can be particularly beneficial as a low-level money maker in free-to-play worlds.
What level do moss giants stop being aggressive?
At level 85 combat, most Moss Giants will stop being aggressive. Aggressive monsters will stop being aggressive when the players combat level is higher than double plus one of the monster. Almost all Moss Giants are level 42, making the players combat level of 85 the cap for aggression.
Do all Moss Giants drop mossy key?
Yes, all moss giants will drop the mossy key. However, the drop rates differ occasionally. Level 42 Moss Giants outside of the wilderness will drop them at a rate of 1/150. The level 84 Moss Giants in the Iorwerth Dungeon will drop them at a rate of 1/120. Finally, Moss Giants in the wilderness drop the key at a rate of 1/60, or 1/50 if on a wildy slayer task.
The Mossy Keys can then be used to access the Bryophyta lair.
