OSRS Pickpocketing H.A.M. Members

Pickpocketing H.A.M. members in OSRS is a popular thieving training method. The female members can be pickpocketed at level 15 thieving, while the male members can be pickpocketed from level 20 onwards. Its best to remain pickpocketing the females as there is a lower chance of being caught.

How to get to the H.A.M. Hideout?

The HAM hideout can be found just west of the Lumbridge Castle. Players will find a small ruin with a trapdoor located inside it. Pick the lock of the trapdoor with a lockpick and climb down to enter the hideout.

The fastest method to get to the hideout is to use a lumbridge teleport and run west to the trapdoor. Alternatively, a glory teleport to Draynor Village then running east to the entrance is just as fast.

Pickpocketing for Easy Clue Scrolls

The most common reason for players pickpocketing H.A.M. Members is to obtain easy clue scrolls. Players can then complete the easy clue scroll for loot or turn it in to Watson to obtain a master clue scroll.

When pickpocketing ham members for easy clue scrolls it is possible to get around 18 – 20 easy clue scroll completions per hour, with moderate concentration. At level 92 you will not fail when pickpocketing H.A.M. members. The higher your thieving level in general, the better your chance of success and so the more easy clues you can complete per hour.

With an average loot of around 40-45k gold per easy clue scroll. Players can expect to get an average of around 600-800k profit per hour when pickpocketing ham members and completing easy clue scrolls. Assuming you can get between 15 and 20 completions. This is a relatively good money maker for mid tier accounts, that has very low entry requirements.
