The Neitiznot Faceguard is a direct upgrade to the helm of Neitiznot in OSRS. It requires a minimum of level 70 defence and completion of the Fremennik Exiles quest to equip the item. The upgrade doubles the items strength bonus (from 3 to 6), making it the second highest strength bonus helm, behind only the Torva full helm.
How to make a Neitiznot Faceguard?
After you’ve completed the quest, you can kill Basilisk Knights to obtain a Basilisk Jaw or buy it from the Grand Exchange. When you have the Jaw, take it to Olaf the Bard and he will combine it with the helm of Neitiznot to create the Faceguard.

Uses for the Neitiznot Faceguard – where is it good?
The Faceguard is the second best melee gear for the helm slot. So, anywhere that has a high reliance on melee combat being used this item will prove useful. It is significantly cheaper than Torva, meaning it will be used by players with a low to medium sized bank for a considerable amount of time. Although, you will eventually want to upgrade to the torva helm.
Is the Faceguard worth it?
Yes, the faceguard is a powerful, but affordable melee helm. Players should buy have this helm relatively early when it comes to buying pvm gear. It can later be sold to fund the more powerful torva armour set. However, due to Torva is extremely expensive for a rather small upgrade to dps. Meaning most players will be using bandos and the faceguard for a considerable amount of time.
Neitiznot Faceguard Vs Serpentine Helm
The Faceguard is superior to the Serpentine Helm in terms of damage output, due to its higher strength bonus. However, the serpentine provides niche functionality. As it has higher defensive stats, provides poison immunity and can venom targets. This makes the serp useful at content such as Dagannoth Kings and even Zulrah.
