Rune Dragons are the strongest of all metallic dragons in Oldschool Runescape. They require full completion of the Dragon Slayer II quest to gain access to them. Where to kill Rune Dragons in OSRS?

The Rune Dragons in OSRS can only be found in the Lithkren Vault. After completion of Dragon Slayer II, players can take a digsite pendant and use it on the Strange Machine in the vault to permanently unlock a teleport to the Vaults entrance. But, before unlocking this teleport, the best way to reach the vault is:

  1. Digsite pendant teleport to Fossil Island
  2. Use the Mushtree to Mushroom Meadow
  3. Run south-west and use the Rowboat to Lithkren
  4. Climb the stairs in the middle of the island
  5. Run south and climb down trapdoor, then run north and climb down the stairs
  6. Run north and enter the vault

Rune Dragons Gear Setup
