Dolo Bossing
Dolo Bossing is where you use your alt account and main account to kill a team boss at the same time. This allows you to get kills significantly faster and easier than soloing the boss. Good examples of bosses that can be doloed include God Wars Dungeon bosses such as; Kree’arra, Commander Zilyana, K’ril Tsutsaroth and General Graardor.
Although, it’s not uncommon for people to use this method at even more intense pieces of content. For example, you will often see players using an alt account in the Chambers of Xeric. This can be to help with combat, but it can also be useful to have the alt account prep brews, revits and overloads for the Olm fight. This will significantly increase your points per hour, leading to better money making.
Rune Dragon Alt
Rune Dragon alts are without doubt one of the best ways to make money with an alt. Players can expect up to 2m gold per hour, with a method that is relatively AFK too. However, the requirements for this method are very high, players will have to complete the Dragon Slayer II quest. Which you will need a minimum of 200 quest points to even start.
Flipping
Hourly profit rates with flipping as your alt account money maker can be endless. This method is so good because it has 0 requirements, other than an initial cash stack investment. Although, their is far less consistency to this method and it takes a lot of practice. To be able to understand how the market works and what the best items to flip are.
Having multiple alts for this method can be beneficial if you’re working with a large volume of cash. As this will allow you to minimise the impact felt by specific Grand Exchange buy limits.
Gargoyles
Having an account that is able to kill gargoyles can be useful as an AFK alt money making method. There are some mid-tier requirements that you will need including 75 slayer, decent combat stats, a rock hammer and the ability to auto smash gargoyles. The “Gargoyle Smasher” perk can be unlocked from any slayer master for 120 points.
Players can expect around 400-600k hourly profit while killing Gargoyles on an alt. Be sure to bring high alch runes, as their drops are predominately alchable items. This allows you to stay for super long trips. Additionally, players can opt to use the Guthans armour set from barrows. This will essentially mean you never have to bank, for max AFK money making. It will reduce your hourly profit, but the level of attention needed will also decrease.
Brutal Black Dragon Alt
Killing Brutal Black Dragons has slightly higher requirements than Gargoyles, with a slayer requirement of 77 Slayer. The Xeric’s Talisman is also highly recommended, to reduce banking times significantly.
Profits per hour range from 700k to 1m+ per hour. There is a larger variance in this money maker depending on the type of gear you have. Twisted Bow is best in slot here, followed by the Dragon Hunter Crossbow. If you don’t have either of these for your alt, then your hourly profit will be reduced significantly. But, still be sure to use your best crossbow and best ranged shield.
Profitable Skilling Alts
Gathering raw materials from skilling can be a viable alt money making strategy. Although, the profit per hour will be considerably lower than PVM strategies.
For example, players with level 80 fishing and 100% Piscarilius favour can catch anglerfish for profit. On average players can expect between 150k-300k profit per hour when fishing anglerfish.
Other methods include Amethyst mining for around 300k-400k gold per hour. This requires level 92 mining, which is a steep requirement. But, it can be reached by training at the Motherlode Mine, which is still a very good AFK money maker for alts.
