OSRS TzHaar Guide

The TzHaar are a golem-like creature that can be found roaming Mor Ul Rek. There are a range of different TzHaar’s that can be fought in the City. Each with their own unique aspect. In this OSRS TzHaar guide, we will take look at some of the most efficient strategies to kill this monster.

TzHaar Variants

  • TzHaar-Ket: attacks with melee only
  • TzHaar-Xil: attacks with both melee and range. Melee versions attack with the Toktz-xil-ak and the rangers attack with Toktz-xil-ul.
  • TzHaar-Mej: attacks with magic only
  • TzHaar-Hur: attacks with melee only

Players who are assigned a TzHaar slayer task can choose to switch it to a Jad or Inferno task. But, only if they have already unlocked the reward “hot stuff” from a slayer master. This costs 100 points and the unlock only applies to Duradel, Nieve and Chaeldar.

Where to kill TzHaar in OSRS?

The TzHaar creatures inhabit Mor Ul Rek, also known as the TzHaar City. They can only be found in this city. The City is located directly beneath the Volcano on Karamja.

How many Tokkul do you need for full Obsidian?

You will need 310,980 Tokkul to buy full obsidian armour from TzHaar-Hur-Zal’s equipment store. This includes the Helmet, Platebody and Platelegs.

How much TokKul is an onyx?

Players can purchase an Onyx with 300,000 Tokkul or 260,000 with any pair of Karamja Gloves.

Are TzHaar tasks good?

Yes, they are extremely good for slayer experience. The regular TzHaar monsters can be killed using barrage spells in a multi-combat zone, this results in up to 70k+ slayer experience. Alternatively, Inferno tasks, if successful can result in huge slayer experience. Each successful Zuk kill provides 100k experience. Making it the best slayer experience in the game if you’re good at the inferno.
