3. Bow of Faerdhinen
The Bow of Faerdhinen, also known as the “BOFA”, is often considered as a budget Twisted Bow by many players. As such, it is often used at many of the same locations. It’s also one of the best ranged weapons for mid-level ironmen, before they start the long grind for the twisted bow. However, the crystal armour needs to be worn when using the BOFA, as it adds damage and accuracy bonuses.
How to get the Bow of Faerdhinen?
The Bow of Faerdhinen is created by combining one enhanced crystal weapon seed with 100 crystal shards at a singing bowl in Prifddinas. This process requires both level 82 smithing and crafting. The enhanced crystal weapon seed can only be obtained by completing the Gauntlet or Corrupted Gauntlet.

The Dragon Hunter Crossbow (DHCB) is the best ranged weapon for killing dragons. This makes it best in slot at some important monsters such as Vorkath, skeletal wyverns, rune dragons, mithril and other metallic dragons.
