OSRS Kandarin Diary Guide

The Kandarin diary is a set of achievement diaries in the Kandarin region. There are four tiers of achievements they are; easy, medium, hard and elite. Each give their own unique set of rewards and each tier has a harder set of requirements to complete than the last. All of these achievement diary rewards can be claimed from the ‘wedge’ who is located just outside of Camelot Castle.

Easy Kandarin Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Visit Catherby and catch a mackerel.
2. Visit the Candle Maker in Catherby and purchase a Candle.
3. Collect 5 flex in Seers’ Village.
4. Use the Farming Patch north of McGrubors Woods to plant 3 Jute Seeds.
5. Play the Organ in the Seer’s Village Church.
6. Have Galahad make you a cup of tea.
7. Kill each of the different elemental types in the Elemental Workshop.
8. Buy a pet fish from Harry in Catherby.
9. Purchase a stew in the Pub of Seers’ Village.
10. Speak to Sherlock.
11. Use the log shortcut near the Coal Trucks.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the easy Kandarin diary tier the rewards include:

• Kandarin Headgear 1. This item works as a light source and when worn gives double logs from normal trees.
• 2,500 experience in any skill above level 30.
• Flax keeper in Seer’s Village will exchange 30 noted flax for 30 bow strings daily.
• 5% increased marks of grace on the Seers’ Village Rooftop Course.
• Coal Trucks hold up to 140 coal now.

Medium Kandarin Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Run a full lap of the Barbarian agility course.
2. Create a super anti-poison potion from scratch. Must be done in the seers or catherby area.
3. Enter the Ranging Guild
4. Grapple across the shortcut from the water obelisk to the catherby shore.
5. Catch a bass in catherby and cook it there.
6. Use the teleport spell to Camelot.
7. String a maple shortbow inside the bank in Seers’ Village.
8. Grow and pick Limpwurt root in the Catherby farming patch.
9. Create a mind helmet.
10. Kill a fire giant in the Waterfall Dungeon.
11. Successfully finish any wave of the Barbarian Assault minigame.
12. Steal from the chest in Hemenster.
13. Use the fairy ring code A-L-S to travel to McGrubor’s Wood.
14. Mine coal near the coal trucks.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the medium Kandarin diary tier the rewards include:

• Kandarin Headgear 2
• 7,500 experience in any skill above level 40.
• The Spinning Wheel in Seers’ Village operates 33% faster.
• Up to 280 coal ores can be stored in the Coal Trucks.
• 10% additional woodcutting experience from maple trees in Seers’ Village.
• Flax keeper in Seer’s Village will exchange 60 noted flax for 60 bow strings daily.
• 10% more marks of grace from Seers’ Village rooftop course.
• 5% increased probability of saving a harvest life from herb patch in Catherby.

Hard Kandarin Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Use barbarian fishing to catch a leaping sturgeon.
2. Run a full lap of the Seers’ Village agility course.
3. Fletch a yew longbow from scratch in Seers’ Village.
4. Turn the piety prayer on in Seers’ Village courthouse.
5. Charge a water orb on the obelisk south-east of Catherby.
6. Visit the Shadow Dungeon and kill one of the Shadow Hounds.
7. Burn maple logs using a bow in Seers’ Village.
8. Kill a mithril dragon in the Ancient Cavern below Baxtorian Falls.
9. Equip a granite body after purchasing it from Barbarian Assault.
10. Have the Seers’ Village estate agent decorate your house with the Fancy Stone recolour.
11. Smith an adamant speers at Otto’s Grotto.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the hard Kandarin diary tier the rewards include:

• Kandarin Headgear 3. Allows one free teleport to Sherlock daily.
• 15,000 experience in any skill above level 50.
• Up to 308 coal ores can be stored in the Coal Trucks.
• Cost of enchanting a battlestaff with Thormac is now 30,000 coins.
• Flax keeper in Seer’s Village will exchange 120 noted flax for 120 bow strings daily.
• 15% more marks of grace from Seers’ Village rooftop course.
• 10% increased probability of saving a harvest life from herb patch in Catherby.
• Reward points at Barbarian Assault increased by 10%.
• Enchanted bolt special effect activation chance has been increased by 10%. This even applies to PvP encounters in the wilderness or PvP worlds and minigames.
• Camelot teleport can be toggled to a Seers’ Village bank teleport.

Elite Kandarin Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Receive level 5 in each of the Barbarian Assault roles then read the blackboard.
2. Plant and pick dwarf weed at the Catherby herb patch.
3. Fish 5 sharks in Catherby and cook them at the range east of the bank with the cooking gauntlets equipped.
4. Create a Stamina mix on top of the Seers’ Village bank.
5. Use the anvil at Otto’s Grotto to smith a rune hasta.
6. Use magic logs to construct a pyre ship.
7. Cast the teleport to Catherby spell.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the elite Kandarin diary tier the rewards include:

• Kandarin Headgear 4. Can now teleport to Sherlock an unlimited number of times, perfect for master clue scroll hunters.
• 50,000 experience in any skill above level 70.
• Cost of enchanting a battlestaff with Thormac is now 20,000 coins.
• Turning a Zamorakian Spear into a Zamorakian Hasta now costs half the price when speaking to Otto. Original price was 300k, now 150k.
• Flax keeper in Seer’s Village will exchange 250 noted flax for 250 bow strings daily.
• 15% increased probability of saving a harvest life from herb patch in Catherby.
• First 200 coal ores place on the coal trucks will be transported to your bank automatically every day.
