OSRS Kourend Diary Guide

The Kourend & Kebos diary is a set of achievement diaries in the city of Great Kourend. There are four tiers of achievements they are; easy, medium, hard and elite. Each give their own unique set of rewards and each tier has a harder set of requirements to complete than the last. All rewards can be claimed from Elise, who is located in the courtyard of the Kourend Castle.

Kourend Easy Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Visit the Mount Karuulm mine and mine an iron ore.
2. Kill a sand crab.
3. Hand a book in at the Arceuus Library.
4. Steal from the Fruit Stall in Hosidius.
5. Take a look at Warrens General Store
6. Charter a ship to Land’s End.
7. Use tha Altar at the Kourend Castle, on the top floor.
8. Dig Saltpetre in the Hosidius region.
9. Move your PoH to Hosidius and enter your house from the Hosidius portal.
10. Use a Shayzien medpack on one of the wounded soldiers in Shayzien.
11. Mix a strength potion in the Lovakengj Pub.
12. Catch a trout with fly fishing in the River Molch.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the easy Kourend diary tier the rewards include:

• Rada’s Blessing 1. Grants 3 teleports to the Kourend Woodland daily. Also, 2% chance to catch 2 fish at once if the blessing is equipped.
• 2,500 experience in any skill level 30 or higher.
• Drop rate of the Xeric’s Talisman is doubled (does not apply to stone chests).
• Tanning prices from Eodan in the Forthos Dungeon are reduced by 20%.
• Cost to access the Crabclaw Isle is halved.

Kourend Medium Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Use the Fairy ring code C-I-R to travel south of the Mount Karuulm
2. Slay a Lizardman.
3. Teleport to all five cities in Great Kourend with the Kharedst’s memoris (or book of the dead).
4. Mine Volcanic Sulphur in the north-west part of Lovakengj.
5. Walk through the entrance to the Farming Guild.
6. Change your spellbook to Arceuus by speaking to Tyss.
7. Fix one of the broken cranes in Port Piscarilius.
8. Deliver intelligence to Captain Ginea.
9. Successfully catch a Bluegill fish while on Lake Molch.
10. Use the shortcut in the dense essence mine. The level 49 agility one, where the player leaps over a boulder blocking the path.
11. Complete a round of the Wintertodt with at least 500 points.
12. Successfully hunt a chinchompa in the Kourend Woodland.
13. Chop a mahogany log from one of the mahogany trees found north of the Farming Guild.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the medium Kourend diary tier the rewards include:

• Rada’s Blessing 2. Kourend daily teleports increased to 5. Chance of two fish at once increased to 4%. The blessing now also provides a +1 prayer bonus when worn.
• 7,500 experience in any skill level 40 or higher.
• 5% chance to mine double dense essence blocks.
• Thirus will provide 20 free dynamite daily.
• Eodan now offers tanning prices at 60% the cost of his original price.
• Access to Crabclaw Isle is now free.

Kourend Hard Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Visit the Woodcutting Guild.
2. Make an adamantite bar in the furnace at the Forsaken Tower.
3. Kill a Lizardman Shaman.
4. Mine Lovakite ore.
5. At the Tithe Farm, plant some of the Logavano seeds.
6. Enter the Shayzien Crypts and kill one of the Zombies.
7. Use the Xeric’s Heart teleport destination on the Xeric’s Talisman.
8. Successfully return an artefact to Captain Khaled without being caught by the Guards.
9. Kill a Wyrm in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon.
10. Use the monster Examine spell on one of the mountain trolls found to the south of the CoX entrance.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the hard Kourend diary tier the rewards include:

• Rada’s Blessing 3. Grants unlimited teleports to the Kourend Woodland and 3 daily teleports to Mount Karuulm. Chance of fishing 2 fish at once now increased to 6% when equipped.
• 15,000 experience in any skill level 50 or higher.
• 5% increased probability of saving a harvest life from herb patch in the Farming Guild.
• Slayer helmet will now function as a Shayzien Helm (5) providing lizardman protection after talking to Captain Cleive.
• Thirus now gives 40 free dynamite daily.
• Eodan’s reduced tanning prices to 40% of their original price.
• Ash Sanctifier can be claimed by speaking to Tyss.

Kourend Elite Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Craft a blood rune at the blood altar.
2. Cut some Redwood logs.
3. Kill Skotizo below the Catacombs of Kourend.
4. Catch and cook an Anglerfish while in Kourend.
5. Kill a Hydra in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon.
6. Make a Ape Atoll teleport tablet.
7. Get 1 kill count in the Chambers of Xeric.
8. Craft a battlestaff from scratch in the Farming Guild.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the elite Kourend diary tier the rewards include:

• Rada’s Blessing 4. Now provides unlimited teleports to Mount Karuulm. Chance of catching double fish is now 8% and you receive a total of +2 prayer bonus when it is equipped.
• 50,000 experience in a skill of your choice above level 70.
• Demonic ashes give full prayer experience from the ash sanctifier.
• Konar slayer tasks now give 20 slayer points.
• When using the city kitchens, burn chance is reduced by 10%.
• When in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon, you no longer require protection for your feet. Boots of Stone, Boots of Brimstone and Granite Boots are no longer necessary.
• 10% bonus in blood runes when crafting blood runes at the blood altar.
• Eodan’s tanning prices are now 20% of his original price, prior to any diary tier completions.
