OSRS Western Provinces Diary Guide

The Western Provinces diary is a set of achievement diaries in the Western Provinces region. There are four tiers of achievements they are; easy, medium, hard and elite. Each give their own unique set of rewards and each tier has a harder set of requirements to complete than the last. All achievement diary rewards can be claimed from the Elder Gnome Child, who can be found just south of the Grand Tree.

Easy Western Provinces Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Catch a copper longtail, which can be found south of the A-K-Q fairy ring.
2. Complete a novice level game of Pest Control.
3. Mine iron ore in the Piscatoris area, use the fairy ring code A-K-Q to get near the location.
4. Run a full lap of the Gnome agility course.
5. Score a goal in a game of Gnome Ball.
6. Kill 30 chomp birds and claim a hat from Rantz.
7. Teleport to the Pest Control area using the minigame teleport.
8. Go to the north-west part of the Gnome Stronghold and collect a swamp toad.
9. Teleport to the essence mine via Brimstail.
10. Fletch an oak shortbow inside the Gnome Stronghold.
11. Kill a terrorbird.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the easy Western diary tier the rewards include:

• Western banner 1.
• 2,500 experience in any chosen skill at level 30 or above.
• 25 ogre arrows daily from Rantz.
• 25% chance of 2 chompy birds appearing at once when hunting chompys.

Medium Western Provinces Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Use the shortcut from the Grand Tree to Otto’s Grotto.
2. Use a spirit tree to travel to Gnome Stronghold.
3. Trap one of the Spined Larupia near the fairy ring code A-K-S.
4. Fish some bass while on Ape Atoll.
5. Chop and burn teak logs while on Ape Atoll.
6. Complete a round of Pest Control at intermediate level.
7. Travel to the Feldip Hills on a Gnome Glider.
8. Claim a new bird hat from Rantz after killing at least 125 Chompy Birds.
9. Make a chocolate bomb in the Grand Tree.
10. Finish a delivery for the Gnome Restaurant.
11. Transform a crystal saw seed into a crystal saw using the singing bowl.
12. Mine one of the gold rocks for ore under the Grand Tree.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the Medium Western diary tier the rewards include:

• Western banner 2.
• 7,500 experience in any skill at level 40 or higher.
• 50% chance of 3 chompy birds spawning at the same time.
• Crystal saw can now hold up to 56 charges.
• 50 free ogre arrows from rantz daily.

Hard Western Provinces Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Kill an elf using a crystal bow.
2. Go to the Piscatoris Fishing Colony to catch and cook a monkfish.
3. Finish a round of Pest Control in the Veteran boat.
4. Catch a dashing kebbit.
5. Run a full lap of the Ape Atoll agility course.
6. Chop mahogany logs and burn them while on Ape Atoll.
7. Mine adamantite ore in Tirannwn.
8. Plant a palm tree sapling in Lletya and return to check its health when fully grown.
9. Claim a new chompy bird hat from rantz after at least 300 chompy kills.
10. Mount the Isafdar painting in the Quest room of your PoH.
11. Kill Zulrah.
12. Use the Ape Atoll teleportation spell.
13. Pickpocket a gnome.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the hard Western diary tier the rewards include:

• Western banner 3. Provides one daily teleport to Piscatoris Fishing Colony.
• 15,000 experience in any skill at level 50 or above.
• Ability to upgrade your void knight bottom and top for 200 pest control points each to the elite void variant. This adds +3 prayer bonus to each and boosts mage and range damage by 2.5%.
• Access to the locked room under the Ape Atoll temple.
• Access to the private red chinchompa hunting area.
• 100 free ogre arrows daily from Rantz.
• Teleport crystals now hold a maximum of 5 charges.
• Islwyn will sell you a crystal halberd for 750,000 coins.

Elite Western Provinces Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Fletch a magic longbow in Tirannwn.
2. Kill the Thermonuclear smoke devil.
3. Pay Prissy Scilla 25 coconuts to protect a Magic Tree sapling.
4. Use the advanced elven overpass cliffside shortcut.
5. Wear any complete set of Void Knight equipment.
6. Kill 1,000 chompy birds and claim a hat from Rantz.
7. Pickpocket an elf successfully.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the elite Western diary tier the rewards include:

• Western banner 4. Provides unlimited teleports to the Piscatoris Fishing Colony.
• 50,000 experience in a chosen skill at level 70 or higher.
• 2 Chompy birds will always appear when hunting them.
• Chance to receive a chompy chick pet.
• Increased slayer points from Nieve to match Duradels amount.
• Rantz gives 150 free ogre arrows daily.
• One daily resurrection at Zulrah.
